chilean riding style
Compared to the British Riding the Chilean horses are working with impulses. The legs of the rider hanging down loosely and accelerating is a knock against the horse`s body shortly.

One holds the reins loosely in one hand so that there is still contact with the teeth, without the horse is disturbed. They are not for holding! This can be done - if necessary - in the mane or in the saddle.

With the reins, the direction is given or held back by slight train. Over all, the Chilean Riding is similar to the Western Riding style. It is very easy to learn and each ride begins with a brief instruction in which the most important things will be explained and our guide provides an overview of the skills of the riders. For those who want to learn it properly, we also offer riding lessons on our riding area.
